Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operatorto join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating converting machinery, maintaining production quality standards, handling materials, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced production setting. Key Responsibilities Assist with all aspects of daily machine production, including loading, unloading, and moving materials, parts, and finished products manually or with equipment. Set up and operate converting machinery to process tape products into various dimensions while maintaining quality and production standards. Inspect raw materials for defects before and during production runs. Monitor machine performance and identify operational issues, reporting concerns to supervisors promptly. Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools and equipment. Verify product quality throughout production and inspect finished goods for defects. Follow written and verbal instructions to complete production and finishing tasks accurately. Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift. Transport finished products to designated staging or processing areas. Adhere to all company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment. Operate a forklift after successfully completing company-provided training and certification. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to read and follow written instructions and work independently. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Willingness to learn new equipment and processes. Forklift experience preferred but not required; training will be provided. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift. Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
