This role is responsible for assisting in the fabrication and assembly of interior doors and related millwork products to meet customer specifications. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and takes pride in producing high-quality work in a fast-paced shop environment. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Perform all job duties in a safe manner in accordance with company safety policies and procedures. Read and interpret work tickets to determine materials, specifications, and assembly requirements. Assist with the setup and adjustment of machinery based on daily production needs and work orders. Set up machinery as needed to support varying job requirements. Coordinate and gather materials required for production using work tickets and product knowledge. Fabricate and assemble interior doors and related products according to specifications. Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met prior to completion. Report any damaged materials to the Store Manager to maintain accurate inventory records. Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure efficient operation (e.g., oiling, blade changes, cleaning). Support general shop operations, including cleaning, organizing, sweeping, and material storage. Operate a forklift safely when required (training/certification as applicable). Maintain a positive and professional image of the company at all times. Participate in continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and workflow. Maintain work areas in accordance with 5S standards (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety). Required Education & Experience Carpentry or woodworking experience preferred Ability to read, write, and understand English Familiarity with millwork products is a plus Forklift experience preferred
