Job Title:
Extrusion Operator Job Overview Responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring extrusion machinery Ensure consistent, high-quality production in a manufacturing environment Work on assigned shifts while maintaining safety and efficiency standards Key Responsibilities Set up and operate extrusion machines as per production specifications Monitor equipment performance and make basic adjustments as needed Load raw materials and handle finished products safely Maintain a clean and organized work area Use hand tools and power tools for setup and minor maintenance tasks Follow production schedules to meet daily output targets Inspect products visually and with measuring tools to ensure quality standards Record production data (counts, scrap, run times) accurately Adhere strictly to safety procedures and use PPE at all times Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve production issues Assist with general production, assembly, and machine operation tasks Essential Skills Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of machinery Prior experience in manufacturing or machine operation Basic math skills for measurements and production tracking Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Safe use of hand tools and power tools Flexibility to work assigned shifts: 1st

- 7:30 AM Preferred Qualifications Previous extrusion experience (highly desirable) general production or assembly roles Strong attention to detail Familiarity with measuring and inspection tools Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently and in a team environment Work Environment Manufacturing facility focused on extrusion and production operations Hands-on role requiring standing for extended periods Work involves operating machinery and handling tools/equipment Exposure to moving machinery and industrial setting Must follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE Shift differentials available for 2nd and 3rd shifts Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Grafton, MA.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00
