The ideal candidates will have a strong background in operating one of the following machines: folding and gluing machines, sheeting machines, diecutting and windowing machines. This role requires a commitment to quality control, precision, and safety while working in a fast-paced environment. The Operator will be responsible for ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Operate and monitor Folding & Gluing machinery including Bobst Visionfold, Media, & Heidelberg Diana Pro. Operator and monitor Bobst Diecutting Machines Run film windowing machine Efficiently run paper sheeting machines Perform setup and adjustments on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product specifications are met. Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to maintain high standards. Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient production flow. Handle materials safely and effectively, ensuring proper packaging for finished products. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist in troubleshooting machinery issues as they arise, utilizing mechanical knowledge for effective solutions. Skills Proficiency with operating fold & gluing machines, diecutting machines and or sheeting and windowing machines Knowledge of basic math principles for measurements and calculations. Ability to operate forklifts safely within the manufacturing environment. Experience with packaging manufacturing. Competence in using hand tools for various assembly tasks. Previous factory or warehouse experience is preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
