$28.00 - $31.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 1st Shift Our client, a family-owned and operated manufacturing company, is seeking a Grinding Operator to join their growing team. We're looking for a mature, capable problem solver with strong technical ability and experience handling complex setups. The ideal candidate has prior experience with centerless grinding and a solid background in manufacturing - this is not an entry-level position.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate machinery for the production of medical-grade stainless steel tubing, including draw blocks, draw benches, and straighteners Perform complicated setups on centerless grinding and straightening machines Manage multiple machines and monitor production runs for quality and efficiency Complete required production documentation and maintain accurate records Use precision measuring tools (such as micrometers) to inspect and verify parts Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment required Prior experience with centerless grinding strongly preferred Proven ability to perform complex setups independently Excellent attention to detail and quality standards Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Reliable, mature, and self-directed work ethic Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted Basic computer literacy (barcode scanning, record lookup) #3368
