Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plug & Draw Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating plug and draw benches to reduce tube diameter and wall thickness while maintaining tight tolerances and high-quality standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in precision work, understands metal forming processes, and values consistency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate plug and draw bench equipment Select proper plugs, dies, and lubricants based on material and specifications Perform tube reduction processes to meet required dimensions and tolerances Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed Inspect finished product using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools Identify and troubleshoot defects such as splits, scoring, or dimensional inconsistencies Maintain proper documentation of production runs and quality checks Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment Assist with changeovers and routine equipment maintenance

What You Bring:

Experience operating plug and draw equipment or similar metal forming machinery Strong understanding of tolerances, measurements, and quality control Ability to read blueprints and work instructions Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods You May Be a
