Our client in Salem, MA is seeking a dedicated Mixer to join their cookie manufacturing team. This role is pivotal in preparing and mixing ingredients to perfection, ensuring that every cookie meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities of the Mixer Prepare, weigh, and stage ingredients according to production schedules and recipes. Operate industrial mixing equipment safely and efficiently. Monitor mixing times, temperatures, and ingredient quantities to ensure product consistency. Transfer mixed dough or ingredients to the next stage of production. Complete production and quality control documentation accurately. Clean and sanitize mixers, utensils, and work areas in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety requirements. Identify and report equipment issues, ingredient shortages, or quality concerns to supervisors. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Perform other production-related duties as assigned. Requirements of the Mixer Previous experience in a food manufacturing or similar environment is preferred. Ability to operate and maintain industrial mixing equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow recipes and production schedules accurately. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
