Plastics Technician - Full-Time Super Brush LLC | Springfield, MA Join a Company Where You Can Build a Career Super Brush LLC is currently hiring full-time Plastics Technicians to join our growing manufacturing team in Springfield, Massachusetts. For more than 65 years , Super Brush LLC has been an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of precision foam swabs used in the medical, aerospace, industrial, electronics, cleanroom, and many other specialized industries . Our products are found in medical sample collection, aerospace manufacturing, precision cleaning applications, and countless products used around the world. Pay $18.00-$20.00 per hour Based on experience and qualifications. Position Summary New team members will be trained to set up, troubleshoot, process, and maintain equipment within our Plastics Department. This position plays an important role in producing high-quality molded and extruded plastic components used in our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Set up dies, molds, auxiliary equipment, and operate extrusion or injection molding equipment. Troubleshoot equipment and resolve quality or processing issues. Perform and document preventive maintenance on equipment and tooling. Complete required production paperwork and workstation labeling. Assist in identifying equipment and facility improvements within the Plastics Department. Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. Produce high-quality products that meet customer specifications. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Follow all quality and safety procedures. Qualifications 1-2 years of plastics manufacturing or injection molding experience preferred. Ability to read and write English. Basic electrical and mechanical aptitude. Ability to use common measuring tools. Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages. Basic computer and data entry skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
