Our client, a leader in the wholesale building material is looking for a talented Production Machine Operator to join their operations in Uxbridge, Massachusetts.
Rotating Shift:
Days/Nights rotating every 4 months (Monday to Friday) 12-hour shift OT after 40 hours !!

Production Position Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and mechanically inclined Machine Operator to join our production team in manufacturing high-quality brick and landscaping products. This position plays a key role in operating, setting up, and maintaining state-of-the-art German automation equipment while ensuring safety, quality, and production targets are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation & Setup:
Set up, operate, and monitor automated manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and production efficiency.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Actively participate in safety meetings and report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.
Production Quality:
Monitor product output to ensure consistent quality. Perform routine quality checks and make necessary adjustments to meet specifications.
Troubleshooting:
Identify and troubleshoot basic mechanical and operational issues. Communicate complex issues to maintenance or supervision for resolution.
Preventive Maintenance:
Perform basic cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks to keep equipment running smoothly. Assist with equipment changeovers as needed.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the Production Supervisor and fellow operators to meet daily production goals. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Documentation & Reporting:
Accurately complete production logs, downtime records, and quality reports using paper forms or Microsoft Office tools (basic proficiency preferred).
Qualifications:
1+ year of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment preferred; experience with automation a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures accurately. Basic computer skills (
MS Office:
Word, Excel, Outlook). Reliable, punctual, and a team player. Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime as needed.
Working Conditions:
Fast-paced production environment with exposure to dust, noise, and variable temperatures. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift. #P2
