Responsibilities Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, backhoes, and loaders to excavate trenches, move materials, and prepare sites for septic system installation Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and site plans to execute installations accurately Use precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers to ensure proper alignment and depth of septic components Assist in the assembly and installation of septic tanks, piping, and related components following manufacturer specifications and safety protocols Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment, ensuring proper storage and transportation of supplies Follow all safety guidelines related to heavy machinery operation, excavation work, and manufacturing processes to maintain a safe work environment Requirements Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, or backhoes in construction or manufacturing settings Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installation tasks Strong safety awareness with adherence to OSHA standards and site-specific safety protocols Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working in outdoor conditions Join our team if you're passionate about heavy machinery operation combined with construction expertise!
