Role Title:
Bagger / Floater / Rewind Operator First and Second shift roles available!

First shift role is Mon-Fri, 7AM - 3:30 PM Second shift is Mon-Thursday 3pm-1:30AMHourly rate is $20.50 for 1rst and will have a $1.50 shift differential for the second shift. The primary role will be as bagger which involves reviewing finished orders to verify that they meet specification and then bagging the rolls using heat sealing equipment. This position also includes, but is not limited to, processing sheeted items (counting, collating, packaging) and use of a tabletop rewinder to inspect and rewind small orders. Attention to detail, flexibility, ability to work independently, adaptability, and a strong team-oriented mindset are critical to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities Bagging:
verify job specifications through use of an approval sheet, verify sample retention and distribute samples, bag finished rolls, provide verified and bagged orders to Shipping in a timely manner
Rewinding:
set up and operate rewinding equipment according to job specifications and perform visual inspection while rewinding
Floater:
varied tasks will be performed in the Inspection department, but at times the floater may be required to help out in other production departments. Perform light maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing minor parts to keep machines operating efficiently. Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and escalate major maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel. Operate material handling equipment such as manual pallet jacks and roll lifts. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations. Communicate effectively with managers, supervisors, and team members to ensure efficient workflow. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process enhancements to improve productivity and reduce waste. Basic Qualifications Mechanical aptitude with the ability to make basic machine adjustments.
Basic math skills:
ability to read a ruler and perform simple calculations. Ability to work all scheduled hours, including overtime, evenings, and weekends as needed. Comply with attendance policies. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs in a manufacturing environment. This is a physically demanding position. Strong communication skills to collaborate with supervisors and coworkers. Must be at least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. On-the-job training provided. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and equipment. Requires repetitive movements and prolonged standing throughout the shift. Fast-paced production setting with strict quality and efficiency requirements. Operation may require the use of a strobe light for inspection.
