Machine Operator/Metallizer, Steinerfilm Steinerfilm in Williamstown is hiring a Machine Operator for 2nd shift
  • 4 10 hour days
  • 2:30PM
  • 12:30AM Monday
  • Thursday and 1st shift
  • 4 10 hour days 4:30AM
  • 2:30PM Mon

Steinerfilm is a precision manufacturer of high-performance metallized dielectric films used in demanding applications such as heart defibrillators, electric vehicles, and the next generation of safe batteries. Summary:
Responsible for Operating Automated Machinery Essential functions:
  • Machine set up based on order requirements.
  • Operate and monitor equipment.
  • Visually inspect product for defects and report to supervisor.
  • Testing of material.
  • Maintain cleanliness of Equipment and assigned area.
  • Use of calipers and other hand tools.
  • Complete Operation log.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
Supervisor responsibilities:
None Qualifications:
  • Prior production/manufacturing machine operation experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic math skills and reading comprehension.
  • Knowledge of ISO helpful
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • Capable of working overtime when needed.
Physical demands:
  • Ability to lift 50lbs periodically.
  • Climb up and down ladder.
  • Able to manipulate small hand tools.
Work Environment:
  • Will climb ladders and work off elevated surfaces on an occasional basis during each shift.
  • Noise level in the work environment is frequently loud.
