Machine Operator Job Description The Machine Operator in the Production department will safely produce and finish quality cast molded products, ensuring adherence to specified tolerances and standards. Responsibilities Cut GEP materials to within specified tolerances and according to SOPs. Measure product using tapes, micrometers, and verniers. Visually inspect products to ensure quality. Maintain accurate work documentation and follow manufacturing order instructions. Read and follow schedules and manufacturing order instructions. Maintain a safe and orderly working environment. Operate other GEP Cast second ops equipment as needed. Perform additional duties as required. Maintain work area and company property to high housekeeping standards. Work off of shop orders. Load and unload annealing rigs, carts, and ovens to maximize annealing throughput. Essential Skills 1-3 years of industrial/manufacturing experience. Ability to remove molds and clean trays. Ability to measure 16th of an inch. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Computer and hand documentation skills. High School Diploma or GED. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.72 - $22.72/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
