Baltimore, MD | Production Department | Full-Time 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Are you hands-on, detail-focused, and ready to mix things up in a big way? Tnemec Company is looking for a High-Speed Batchmaker to join our dynamic production team! In this role, you'll be right at the heart of our manufacturing process, operating advanced equipment, following precise batch instructions, and making sure each product is crafted to perfection. Your Day-to-Day:
What You'll Be Doing Load raw materials into mills and blend tanks following batch tickets with a focus on accuracy and sequence Operate pumps, meters, agitators, and tanks for mixing and dispersing materials Package finished materials into proper containers for storage or shipment Keep your Supervisor and Lead in the loop on any production issues or concerns Maintain detailed documentation of inputs and processes for each batch Support team inventories and cycle counts Ensure your area is clean, organized, and follows all safety and environmental standards Always work with a safety-first mindset and contribute to product excellence Be ready to lend a hand wherever needed, teamwork makes the dream work! Tools of the Trade You'll be working with: High-speed dispersion equipment Pumps, meters, agitators, and scales Ball mills, basketmills, and forklifts Drum dollies and material handling tools Batch ticket software and documentation systems Who You'll Work With You'll team up with: Lead Personnel & Supervisors Quality Control (QC) Personnel Fellow Production and Filling Team Members Director of Manufacturing Why Join Tnemec? What We're Looking For Requirements 2+ years of batch making experience in a production or manufacturing setting High School Diploma or GED Fork Truck Certification (or willing to earn) Confined space and CPR training (or ability to obtain) Safety Management Training is a plus Proven track record of operating production equipment with accuracy Key Skills & Strengths Solid understanding of batch production processes Able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in warm conditions (up to 105°F) Ability to read and follow batch tickets carefully Safety-conscious with excellent attention to detail Certified to wear and use a respirator when necessary Able to think on your feet and communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors
