We're looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and energized by a fast-paced environment to help keep our colors just right and our production lines moving smoothly. This unique role combines art and science. Think precise color matching, meticulous measurements, and high standards for quality and safety. What You'll Do - Your Day-to-Day Impact As a Shade Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring quality, consistency, and accuracy in our coating batches before they head out the door. From drawdowns and viscosity checks to preparing materials for shipment, you'll make sure each product meets our industry-leading standards. Shade Responsibilities Select tub size and prep mixing equipment for production batches Precisely weigh base materials and colorants per batch ticket specs Tint batches and perform drawdowns to ensure proper shade Measure and adjust viscosity to exact standards Work with the schedule to ensure production flows smoothly and timely Filling Duties Gather and inspect containers before filling Set up and operate filling equipment, filters, and Finex machines Label, skid, and prepare filled product for warehouse storage or shipping Clean and maintain pans, tanks, and tools Assist with moving materials and supplies around the department Other Key Tasks Operate pumps, agitators, meters, and forklifts as needed Follow all PPE, HMIS, and safety guidelines Document everything properly on batch tickets and logs Suggest improvements and assist other departments when needed Stay organized and keep your space clean and efficient What We're Looking For We're not just hiring an employee, we're looking for a teammate with the right mix of technical skill, reliability, and a drive to improve . ✔ Qualifications High School Diploma or GED At least 5 years of related work experience (preferred) Forklift Certified (or willing to become certified) Basic computer knowledge a plus Strong team player who can work independently Able to lift up to 100 lbs, work in warm temps, and be on your feet You'll Succeed Here If You...
