Job Description

A-Line Staffing is now hiring Machine Operator (Operator 2, Machine) in Hunt Valley / Cockeysville, MD . The Machine Operator would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. Full time / 40+ hrs/wk. Machine Operator Compensation:
pay $18.45/hr (includes shift differential); benefits after 90 days; 401(k) match after 1 year (eligibility dates)
Machine Operator Highlights:
contract w/ potential perm based on attendance/performance/business needs; required availability: Mon-Fri 2:00pm-10:30pm Training required: must be able to work Mon-Fri 6:00am-2:30pm for approx 6 weeks during training Onboarding required: 1 week (Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm) on-site attendance required Safety shoes required | In-person interviews Machine Operator Responsibilities Set up, operate, and make minor adjustments to automated manufacturing equipment Perform minor routine maintenance, preventative maintenance (PM), and basic troubleshooting Inspect in-process parts, remove defective product/material, and maintain consistent quality Assist with root-cause analysis for process/product exceptions Complete accurate documentation for quality, safety, and maintenance activities Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all safety/housekeeping policies Work overtime as required based on business needs
Machine Operator Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED; attendance mandatory first 90 days 2+ years manufacturing experience (regulated environment preferred/required per job) Proficient in English (read/write), basic math, and ability to analyze charts/follow diagrams Basic PC skills (Windows environment) Reliable, punctual, team-oriented, and able to rotate tasks as needed Machine Operator Preferred Qualifications Experience with moderately complex/automated production equipment Strong attention to detail and comfort working to documented processes/specs If you think this Machine Operator position is a good fit, reach out—call, email, or apply.
