Job Description

  • Only qualified "Machine Operator " candidates located near the Hunt Valley Maryland area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence
  • Required Education
  • High School Diploma with two years of manufacturing experienceRequired Experience
  • Experience working in a regulated environment
  • Experience operating manufacturing equipment in a production environment
  • Experience with routine equipment setup operation minor maintenance preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Experience recognizing deviations from specifications
  • Experience working independently within approved process related documentation
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Safety shoes required
  • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) knowledge and compliance required
  • Tech Skills
  • Proficient in English with the ability to read write analyze and evaluate charts follow simple diagrams and perform basic arithmetic
  • Basic proficiency with Personal Computers (PCs) and Windows environments
  • Ability to operate moderately complex and automated manufacturing equipment
  • Ability to control and adjust machine settings
  • Ability to use prescribed gauges jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances
  • Ability to perform basic machine performance and product quality troubleshooting
  • Ability to accurately complete quality safety and maintenance documentationSoft Skills

  • Responsibilities
  • Perform routine setup operation minor routine maintenance preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment
  • Set up and operate automated machine processes and controls
  • Perform routine production functions including filling packing assembling labeling and inspecting
  • Control and adjust machine settings according to established procedures
  • Inspect in process parts to ensure consistent quality and remove defective products packaging and component materials
  • Assist with root cause analysis activities for process or product exceptions
  • Monitor quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures when assigned
  • Check work using prescribed gauges jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances
  • Maintain accurate quality safety and maintenance documentation
  • Identify troubleshoot and resolve basic machine performance and product quality issues
  • Perform cleanup functions in sterilized areas when required
  • Identify the need for minor equipment repairs
  • Analyze and evaluate charts and follow simple diagrams testing and inspection procedures
  • Follow established procedures in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Follow all client housekeeping policies and procedures
  • Follow all client safety policies and procedures
  • Work overtime as required to meet client business requirements
  • Work flexible or extended hours and report to work regularly and punctually
  • Complete required onboarding and training activitiesSchedule
  • First shift Monday through Thursday 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM during the training period
  • Training period requires first shift availability for three months
  • Onboarding requires attendance Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM for one week
