Dry Clean/Laundry Machine Operator

Duties Operate commercial laundry and dry cleaning machines safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols. Load and unload garments, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or contamination. Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly. Sort, inspect, and prepare items for cleaning, ensuring they meet quality standards. Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Record processing details accurately, including cycle times and special instructions. Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and chemicals. Requirements Prior experience in laundry or dry cleaning operations is preferred Basic understanding of laundry processes, including washing, drying, pressing, and finishing garments. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control.

Stain Management :

Inspect soiled garments to identify stain types and apply appropriate pre-treatment solvents or steam techniques.

Process Control :

Select and program machine cycles based on fabric type (e.g., delicate vs. industrial) and regulate the volume of detergents and additives. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks. Knowledge of safety procedures related to handling chemicals and operating machinery.
