Job Description

2nd Shift Machine Operator Exact Staff is hiring for our client. We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operators to join a growing manufacturing team in Elkton, MD. This position offers a unique rotating schedule with approximately 14 working days per month, every other weekend off, and opportunities for long-term growth. Candidates must be able to complete a paid training period on the day shift before transitioning to the overnight schedule.

        Temp-to-HireResponsibilities:
        • Operate manufacturing and production equipment safely and efficiently
        • Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout the production process
        • Perform basic machine adjustments, troubleshooting, and operational checks
        • Follow production schedules, work orders, and operating procedures
        • Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
        • Maintain accurate production and operational documentation
        • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
        • Follow all company policies, procedures, and workplace safety requirements
        Qualifications:
        • Previous machine operator, manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience preferred
        • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and stand for extended periods
        • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are a plus
        • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
        • Reliable attendance and punctuality
        • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
        • Willingness to complete a 10-day training period on day shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
