Responsibilities:

Safely set up and operate assigned machinery (CNC Mills/Lathes, Press Brakes, Lasers, or Turret Punches) according to production schedules. Read and interpret industrial blueprints, engineering drawings, and job routers to determine part specifications and tolerances. Perform first-article and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and pin gauges to ensure parts meet tight tolerances. Identify and correct machine malfunctions, adjust offsets, replace worn tooling/inserts, and fine-tune programs at the controller. Load raw stock (sheet metal, bar stock, castings) safely onto machines and verify material thickness and type before running. Perform basic daily preventative maintenance (checking fluid levels, clearing chips, and keeping the workspace organized).
