$20/hour Job Overview We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating various industrial machinery to produce high-quality components and products in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with CNC and manual equipment, and a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient production operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Operate a variety of machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, press brake machines, and flexo presses to manufacture precision parts. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly. Set up and calibrate equipment using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on industrial equipment to minimize downtime. Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards in all aspects of machine operation and material handling. Use shop math and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles for accurate measurements and quality control. Assist with materials handling, tooling setup, packaging, and assembly line tasks as needed to support production flow. Maintain detailed records of production activities, measurements, and inspection results for quality assurance purposes. Collaborate with team members to optimize manufacturing processes and improve operational efficiency. Requirements Proven experience operating CNC machines (including CNC programming), manual machining tools, or related manufacturing equipment within a factory or production environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CAM programming, SolidWorks CAD software, and factory safety standards. Ability to perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, shop math skills, and other measurement tools. Experience with fabrication techniques such as stamping, machining, welding, or assembly is preferred. Knowledge of industrial equipment troubleshooting and preventative maintenance practices. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control and adherence to specifications. Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and documentation. Ability to operate forklifts safely when required; certification is a plus. Prior experience in manufacturing facilities or warehouse environments is advantageous.
