Press Brake Machine Operator - Second Shift Job Overview Join a growing manufacturing team producing high-quality sheet metal components for critical infrastructure. Operate in a modern, brand-new facility with strong training and advancement opportunities. Second shift role with hands-on support and development. Key Responsibilities Set up, program, and operate press brake machines for sheet metal bending and forming. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Input dimensional data into machine software accurately. Adjust machine settings (angles, flange lengths, etc.) to meet tolerances. Perform in-process and final quality inspections. Troubleshoot issues and make necessary machine adjustments. Conduct preventive maintenance and report equipment issues. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals. Document production metrics, materials used, and adjustments. Participate in training and continuous skill development. Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures. Required Skills 1-3 years experience operating a press brake (sheet metal bending). Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings. Experience with press brake programming and software input. Strong attention to detail and quality focus. Basic mechanical and fabrication knowledge. Ability to work independently and within a team. Good English communication skills. Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Preferred Qualifications Spanish language skills (a plus). Experience with CNC press brake equipment. BG in sheet metal fabrication or similar machinery (e.g., punch press). Experience in manufacturing environments related to electrification or infrastructure. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
Work Schedule & Environment Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 6:30 PM - 5:30 AM. Work in a manufacturing environment with machinery, noise, and temperature variations. Prolonged standing and material handling required (25-50 lbs). Safety Requirements Steel-toed boots required. Safety glasses provided. Must wear long pants (no leggings) and long sleeves or cut-resistant sleeves. Why Join Us?
