Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking Laser Operators to become an integral part of our clients team. Laser Operators perform tasks that are essential to our production processes.

Job Duties:

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment to produce metal parts according to work orders and specifications.
• Load and unload raw sheet metal and materials into the laser machine.
• Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and production drawings.
• Monitor the laser during operation and make basic adjustments as needed.
• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Identify and report material, machine, or quality issues to the supervisor or team lead.
• Sort, label, and organize completed parts for the next stage of production.
• Complete production paperwork and record quantities and scrap as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Laser operating experience.
• Ability to properly set up and operate laser machines.
• Working knowledge of calipers, micrometers, and tape measures, etc.
• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Be able to lift up-to 35 lbs on a regular basis. Occasionally lift up-to 40 lbs.
• Be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
