JOB SUMMARY
Schedule:
1st Shift
  • 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday (overtime as needed) Candidates must be willing to begin employment through a staffing agency for a temporary period prior to consideration for direct hire.
We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused team member to support our manufacturing operations by producing high-quality parts in a timely manner. This role works cross-functionally with other departments and plays a key part in maintaining our standards for quality, safety, and efficiency. This role will include working in a cooler temperature controlled room that the candidate will learn how to operate a CNC cutting table, load and run a large Autoclave oven, and perform operations where the candidate will layup raw Carbon Fiber products onto molds and prepare them for baking. In this hands-on position, you will learn and follow established procedures for: Machine and equipment operation
  • Including CNC cutting table, Autoclave oven, and hand tools Blueprint and work instruction interpretation Inspection and quality checks Equipment maintenance Department documentation (prints, work orders, etc.
) Housekeeping and safety practices Carbon Fiber Layup operation Prior CNC or blueprint reading experience is a plus, but not required. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTS
Manufacture of Products Read and understand product requirements to produce quality parts through work orders, work instructions, and blueprints. Utilize proper housekeeping procedures; keep the department clean and organized at all times. Follow safe work practices (safety glasses, protective shoes, etc.) Accurate use of measuring devices Communicate improvement ideas and suggestions to team leaders or management regarding process, procedures, materials, environment, etc. Follow directions given. Properly use materials to maximize production. Utilize good communication verbally and in writing to communicate with co-workers and management. Quality Management Utilize and comply with the Quality Management System Self-inspect parts to ensure quality requirements and specs are met. Ensure quality at the source by noticing and reporting defects in products or documentation, whether done by the operator or someone else Follow proper NCR procedure when a non-conforming part is encountered. Other Duties Perform other duties as assigned. Accountable for modeling and providing training of the company's Purpose, Values, and Principles Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality with all tasks, especially when dealing with visitors, vendors, and members of the public. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures; promote a safe work environment for co-workers, customers, and visitors. Attend all department and organizational meetings as required.
