Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machine Adjuster to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of complex machinery, process optimization, and advanced troubleshooting within a production environment. The Machine Adjuster is responsible for ensuring optimal machine performance, maintaining strict quality standards, and proactively identifying opportunities for operational improvements. This individual will serve as a technical expert on the plant floor and play a key role in supporting production efficiency and mentoring less experienced team members. Comparable roles or job titles may include: Maintenance Technician, Manufacturing Technician, Process Technician, or Plastic Manufacturing Technician. This is a 2nd Shift position with hours typically between 2:45 pm - 11:15 pm. Responsibilities Ensure materials and blends are processed at standard Ensure cycle time and part standards are met Ensure scrap goals are met Establish primary processes to maximize quality, part and labor requirements Adjust processes to ensure machines are running efficiently Maintain process books / ensure all process changes are recorded Ensure that the process supports minimal flash Write necessary maintenance work orders Drive cycle time & Wt. reduction program Qualifications 10+ years manufacturing environment - 5 years' experience in Injection Molding High School Diploma or equivalent work experience may be considered Plastics experience desirable(structural foam / injection molding preferred) Must be a team player with good interpersonal skills and willing to support all shifts Strong leadership / take-charge skills
