In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. Your expertise will help ensure that production processes run smoothly, maintaining precision and quality standards throughout every stage of manufacturing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced equipment and contribute to a fast-paced, innovative environment dedicated to excellence. Duties Set up, operate, and monitor various manufacturing machines including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC programming equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly. Perform routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and quality standards. Adjust machine settings using programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) programming, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications for precision machining. Maintain safety protocols by operating forklifts for materials handling and ensuring safe use of hand tools and fabrication equipment. Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to identify defects or deviations from specifications. Troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance. Keep detailed records of production activities, machine maintenance, and inspection reports for continuous improvement. Experience Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience working with machining equipment such as CNC mills, CNC lathes, stamping presses, or flexo presses. Hands-on knowledge of CNC programming, CAM programming is highly desirable. Familiarity with tooling setup, fabrication techniques including welding and tool handling is a plus. Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings accurately to ensure precise manufacturing outcomes. Proficiency with mechanical tools like calipers, micrometers, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments. Ability to operate forklifts safely with relevant certification preferred. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including materials handling and quality control procedures. Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations involved in machining tasks.
