CNC Wire Form Setup Technician 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 5621 Airline Road, Fruitport, MI 49415 Full-time Motion Dynamics Corporation 17 reviews Full-time Overview As a CNC Wire Form Setup Technician, you will be a key contributor to Motion Dynamics commitment to precision manufacturing and quality. This role involves setting up, programming, operating, and maintaining CNC spring and/or wire form machines to produce springs that meet exact specifications. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our production processes.
Responsibilities:
Setup and Operation:
Set up and operate CNC wire form machines, including Itaya, and Mec to manufacture various types of springs according to specifications.
Programming:
Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs to produce springs and wire forms that meet quality standards.
Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Quality Control:
Inspect and measure finished products using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet specified tolerances and quality standards.
Documentation:
Document In-Process inspections. Log labor time and counts in the MRP system.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments (Weld, Grind, etc) to produce finished products of the highest quality. Collaborate with other members of the coiling team to solve technical challenges, maximize team output, and assist each other as necessary.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in setup of CNC wire forming machines (Itaya, MEC, or similar), is required.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and CNC programming. Attention to
Detail:
Strong attention to detail and precision in work to ensure high-quality output.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with CNC machines.
Physical Requirements:
Capable of standing for long periods and handling physical tasks associated with machine operation and maintenance.

Spring industry : 10 years (Required)

5 years (Required)
