•The individual selected for this position will start out training during the hours of 8:00AM - 4:00PM. At or around the 4 week mark, the schedule will change to 10:00AM - 6:00PM. The objective for this position will be to perform various machine operator duties including operating coating heads, industrial ovens, unwinders, and rewinders. Once trained in these areas, this person will be responsible to set-up for the following days production. This will include, cleaning the line, rollers, pumps, coating heads. Getting compounds staged, having fabric loaded on unwinders and running fabric thru the lines. Uniband USA is a conveyor belt manufacturer located in Grand Rapids. We are searching for a new member to join our team. Looking for mechanically inclined individuals. Job duties include but are not limited to Operating coating line Performing machine changeovers Production start ups and shut downs Operating Hilo/Overhead crane Cleaning work area Assuring product is within tolerance and adjusting coating line if necessary Recording hourly QC checks Able to work with a team to accomplish daily goals Preforming duties in a safe manner consistent with Uniband USA and MIOSHA guidelines Daily use of tape measure, thickness gauges, and temperature probes Performing routine maintenance Lifting of 50 lbs Please contact us if interested to set up an interview to discuss in more detail the position and benefits.
