Machine Operator

Wiric is a Tier 1 automotive supplier based in Rochester Hills with facilities in Harbor Beach, Michigan and the Dominican Republic. We are a leading supplier for accessory harnesses and wire harness repair kits shipping directly to OEMs. We are seeking an individual responsible for ensuring all termination operations are performed to industry standards while operating automated and semi-automated wire processing equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Complete daily assignments according to the work instructions and production schedule. Must complete daily preventive maintenance activities. Operate electronic wire stripping equipment. Operator electronic wire cutting/stripping equipment. Operate semi-automated wire termination equipment. Follow all Wiric Corp work instructions, safety rules, and policies.

Job Requirements:

No previous experience or knowledge required Must pass the Wiric Corp New Hire test. Plex (ERP) a plus.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift 40lbs. Stand, sit, stretch, bend, and walk for long periods of time. Withstand the climate of a warehouse throughout all seasons.

Education, Experience, and Knowledge:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry (preferably Tier 1) is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities. Ability to read and interpret work instructions and quality specifications. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery, and equipment. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., 5S, Kaizen) is a plus. Basic computer skills and the ability to use production tracking software or systems.
