Machine Operator

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking motivated and detail-orientated individuals to join a prominent manufacturing team in Harrison. As a Production Operator or Machinist, you will be responsible for operating specialized broaching and grinding equipment, ensuring precision manufacturing of components used in various industrial applications.

Job Type:

Full time, 1st shift.

Pay:

$17/hr

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and technical data to determine specifications and setup requirements. Set up and operate gear grinding or spline grinding machines with indexing equipment. Select and install appropriate tooling, cams, index plates, and grinding wheels. Monitor machine operations and adjust feed rates, cutting speeds, and depth of cut. Inspect finished parts using micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges to ensure quality standards. Perform routine maintenance on machines, including checking oil and coolant levels. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or machining certification preferred. Experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. Familiarity with precision measuring tools and equipment. Why Peoplelink?
