$16.72/hour Full-Time | Long-Term | Temp-to-Hire Recruit Specialized Staffing is hiring experienced Manufacturing and Machine Operators for long-term opportunities at an established industrial manufacturing facility in Michigan Center, MI. These are hands-on production positions working with manufacturing equipment, raw materials, production processes, quality requirements, and finished products. Previous manufacturing or industrial experience is required for consideration. We're looking for candidates who can bring a demonstrated skill set to the facility—not simply someone looking to get into manufacturing for the first time. Positions May Include Extrusion Operator Mixing / Batch Operator Production Machine Operator Material Processing / Production Operator Placement will be based on your previous experience, skills, shift availability, and current openings. What You'll Be Doing Depending on the department, responsibilities may include: Operating and monitoring industrial production equipment Preparing, measuring, weighing, and moving raw materials Mixing, batching, blending, or processing production materials Following work orders, batch instructions, formulas, and established procedures Monitoring equipment and identifying production or process issues Performing quality checks throughout the production process Packaging and labeling finished products Completing production, batch, and quality documentation accurately Performing basic equipment adjustments and troubleshooting Maintaining a clean and organized production area Following established safety procedures and required PPE standards What We're Looking For Strong candidates will have previous hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience with any of the following is especially valuable: Machine operation Extrusion Mixing, batching, or blending Chemical or process manufacturing Plastics, rubber, coatings, adhesives, resins, or similar materials Production equipment setup or changeovers Quality inspection Material weighing and preparation Production documentation Industrial material handling You do not need experience in every area listed above. We are looking for candidates who can clearly explain what equipment, processes, materials, and responsibilities they have previously worked with. Schedule 1st
