1st Shift Assembly Operator Corvac Composites, LLC - 3.0 Kentwood, MI Job Details Full-time $18.61 - $19.86 an hour 23 hours ago Qualifications Human-machine interface (HMI) systems Machine operation Writing skills Dimensional measurements Math Measuring instruments Lean manufacturing Full Job Description Efficient operation of assembly equipment and other assembly tasks to safely produce and pack quality products to meet customer requirements.
BACKGROUND REQUIRED
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist for up to 10 hours and lift up to 20 lbs. Must have excellent reading, writing, communication, and math skills Ability to work OT as needed High school diploma / GED preferred .
SKILLS REQUIRED
Must be able to use and read various measuring devices Operate HMI (Human Machine Interface) Screen Ability to understand multiple types of assembly machine functions Problem solving knowledge and ability. Exposure to lean manufacturing principles Attention to detail/Quality frame of mind
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including Safety, Quality, and EMS Follow standardized work instructions Fully participate in and support the Corvac Quality System Observe general and specific safety rules. This includes observing light curtain and other safety devices while the machine is in operation Maintain the cleanliness of the work area and contribute to the overall orderliness of the plant Fill out all required paperwork including but not limited to production, scrap and downtime Rework and repair defective parts as needed Responsible for the quality of product produced and identifying any non-compliant component parts Responsible for assuring proper labeling is applied to finished goods containers Accountable for packing finished goods Able to train others as needed Other duties and responsibilities as assigned The following are some of the tools and/or products that may be required to perform the above-mentioned duties: Stndardized Work Insturctions Assemble component parts Rivet gun Safety Equipment/Gloves Page Brek Monday-Friday 7am-3pm 40 hours per week and overtime as needed.
