Machine Operator Job Description Join our team as a Machine Operator working on the first shift in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You'll work from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, with the possibility of overtime on Fridays. SHIFT POSITION
Responsibilities Load and unload machines, ensuring parts meet quality standards. Operate older Acme Gridley machines and adjust them as needed. Perform quality checks on small parts throughout the shift. Train on mills or lathes as required. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Exhibit a reliable work ethic and a willingness to learn. Essential Skills 2+ years of experience in manufacturing as a machine operator within the last 3-5 years. Ability to read and use micrometers and calipers. Mechanically inclined with experience in machining and precision grinding. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with CNC mill and lathe, automated grinding, or manual grinding. Familiarity with Acme machines is a bonus. Experience with Sheffield gauges, Cincinatti, and Norton machines. Experience in grinding pins with specific tolerances. Why Work Here?
