Lapeer-based manufacturing company committed to excellence in precision manufacturing and craftsmanship is seeking a Router Table Operator to join their team. As a trusted supplier in the RV and specialty vehicle industry that is growing, looking to add dedicated team members who value quality, integrity, and teamwork. This is a 1st Shift position, Monday-Thursday (some overtime is available), 5:50AM-4:20PM. Pay starts at $16, higher for more qualified individuals. Raise after 90 days of being hired on. Position SummaryThe Router Table Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining router table machinery used to cut wood, fiberglass, or other materials according to production specifications. This position requires attention to detail, knowledge of safety procedures, and the ability to read measurements and production drawings accurately. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate router table equipment safely and efficiently. Set up tooling, guides, and fixtures according to job specifications. Measure and inspect materials to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met. Read and interpret work orders and production drawings. Cut material using router table machinery, clean frames of debris, unload racks of frames. Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues when necessary. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Monitor production output to ensure deadlines and quality requirements are achieved. Assist with material handling and other shop duties as assigned. Qualifications Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to safely use hand tools and power equipment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Frequently lift, carry, and move materials up to 20 pounds. Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions. Comfortable working in a manufacturing or shop environment with dust and noise exposure. Work Environment Indoor manufacturing facility. Exposure to sawdust, noise, and moving machinery. Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves. Why work for Qualified Staffing?
