That's why, we offer a safe working environment with a competitive salary and a competitive comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, & 401K matching!3rd shift: 11 PM - 7 PMSome overtimeResponsibilitiesPerform all duties necessary to the efficient operation of all equipment in the plantOperate and maintain plant equipment in accordance with standard work and building proceduresMonitor and follow all safety preventative measures and practices, including 5S+ safety guidelinesMust be capable of following and meeting standard work requirementsContinue to keep current in skills through training, classes and on the job trainingMust be capable of operating several machines after set-ups have been completedPerform all quality checks to include SPC, visual and total dimensional conformanceBe accountable for process evaluation, measurement, documentation, and improvement on a continuous basisBe able to verify weight of brass, which may involve the use of a scaleMust work safely in accordance with regulations, standards, and procedures, and in a manner that eliminates unreasonable risk to health and the environmentMust notify management of unsafe conditions or practices, unlawful activities and activities, which present unreasonable health and / or environmental risk, and report all safety and / or environmental incidents to management immediatelyAbility to demonstrate "professionalism" with all associates, suppliers, and customersEffective communication with shop personnel from all aspects of the business. Ability to read, write, and converse in EnglishPromotes a positive working environmentPunctual and maintains an acceptable attendance record.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bending, reaching, lifting up to 50-pound boxes and totes, twisting, scooping, grasping, squatting, pushing/pulling, prolonged sitting/standing/walking, and fine hand-eye coordination.
  • Exert 25 to 80 pounds of force occasionally, and/or exert 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently to move objects
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Lead, Value Stream Team Leader, Value Stream Manager, Plant Manager, or any other individuals of authority within the facility.
EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
EXPERIENCE2+ years of previous machine set-up & operate experience
