Responsibilities and Duties:
Ensuring products are packed correctly and made ready for distribution. Whenever a mistake is made, a solution on how to ensure it will never happen again must be implemented. Working with Packaging Manager on scheduling of weekly and daily priorities Multi-department communication: ensuring the packaging team and cellar team are in sync. Maintenance of Packaging equipment (PM, small repairs, and fine tuning). Noticing potential issues before anyone else. Facility cleanliness and 5S Employee Training, leading and motivating. Work with packaging team to ensure maximum efficiency, effectiveness and all targets are met. Maintain the highest level of quality and sanitary practices. Ensuring all paperwork is diligently completed accurately, neatly, and timely. Cultivate a good understanding of all Packaging procedures and production protocols. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Packaging processes and procedures. Stay up to date with latest industry trends, techniques, and practices. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements Required:
High school diploma or equivalent Ability to effectively communicate, in English, both verbally and in writing. Demonstrated ability to maintain consistency and quality standards Able to use Microsoft Office Applications Must have the ability to be on your feet for an entire shift. Must be a self-starter with minimal supervision and good follow-through. Energetic team player. Demonstrated ability to follow and improve processes Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and integrity a must. Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
Working Conditions:
The work for this position will be in a climate-controlled, smoke free environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with some periods being loud. This position will be regularly scheduled for Mon-Fri with occasional Saturday from 2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m..
