Job Description

Description Fleet Engineers is a part of the Tramec Holdings family, which has facilities located throughout the United States. Position Summary:
This position is responsible for running and setting up a variety of equipment in the Tech Cell which includes Press Brake; Laser and Buffalo Rolls machine.
Shift:
Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm but hours could vary
Essential Job Duties:
Aligns parts or positions them against fixtures on a machine. Stacks, racks, wraps, counts component or finished goods for placement onto skids. Inspects parts according to requirements. Use of calipers, tape measure, measuring fixtures and gauges. Ability to use computer to log production documentation into Epicor software. Ability to set-up and program Press Brakes, CNC Milling Machines, Fiber Optic Lasers & Rolls Equipment. Ability to trouble shoot and make machine adjustments to assure dimensional compliance of parts. Maintain production rate numbers and perform machine change overs in the appropriate time. Familiar with working with a variety of materials including, Steel, Galvanized Steel, Aluminum & Stainless. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent 3+ years manufacturing experience on Press Brakes, Lasers and CNC Milling Machines preferred. Computer data entry Able to safely lift and handle up to 50 pounds overhead. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and able to read blueprints.
