Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team is seeking a Parts Cleaner & Assembly/General Shop Candidate for 2nd shift, to help our operations running smoothly and efficiently. This role offers an energetic environment where your mechanical skills and attention to detail will directly contribute to the quality and productivity of our manufacturing facility. You will be cleaning parts, pressing/assembling automotive parts to customer requirements to prepare parts for Laser Weld. This position requires standing, lifting up to 20 lbs. for entire shift. Must be able to work independently. This is a repetitive, fast paced position. You must be able to work independently and follow work instructions. Knowledge of blueprint reading is a plus. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Clean and prepare parts using parts-washer and assemble using a hydraulic press. Operate semi-automatic welding cell. Welding experience welcomed, on the job training provided. Assist with assembly tasks on the production line, following detailed instructions and safety protocols. While performing duties of this job, employee is regularly required to be independently mobile. Ability to work with limited direction and supervision. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move parts and materials within the facility. Candidate must be able to handle switching between several tasks such as cleaning, assembling, and packaging. This requires good time management and process awareness. Maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with safety regulations and manufacturing standards. Support general shop duties such as inventory management, packaging, and quality checks as needed. Follow all safety procedures diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Employee is also required to interact with a computer (s) utilizing company software and have good communication with co-workers. Qualifications Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred with TIG welding experience a plus. Mechanical aptitude with familiarity using hydraulic press. Experience operating forklifts. Knowledge of assembly line processes and warehouse operations is a plus. Ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality standards. Excellent teamwork skills and a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in a fast-paced environment. Employment subject to pre-employment and random Alcohol and Drug Screening. Applicant must be a US person as defined by 22 C.F.R. Chapter 1, Subchapter M, Part 120.15 US Person (Generally speaking, a U.S. Citizen). Employment subject to a background check. Starting wage depends upon qualifications and abilities at time of employment. 2nd shift premium.
