Job Description

Job Title Mixer (1st Shift 4 AM start) Department Bakery Production Reporting to Production Supervisor and Production Manager Position Purpose Responsible to ensure that product meets company specifications, ensure that job duties that affect safety, legality and quality standards are addressed. Perform duties and tasks routinely, adapts techniques to meet special needs, and apply basic skills. Key Accountabilities Ensures that our products meet the company's standards and specifications Complete, legible and accurate documentation Must understand and follow all company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) Food Safety and Quality Standard Requirements are being maintained daily Must understand and comply with the company Allergen, Food Defense and HACCP policies Must communicate with Supervision of any Food Safety and Equipment concerns Follows all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for the area worked Establishes and maintains effective working relationships Never abuse equipment Work with Supervision and maintenance to maintain equipment in good working condition Ability to work in a fast paced environment Correct weighing and recording of any waste to be disposed of Follows all work instructions Perform all other work assigned duties as required by Supervision Keep work area and machinery clean Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary for task at hand Must comply with all safety policies and procedures at all times Utilize all safety devices Report any unsafe work practices or injuries to your supervisor Required to maintain a safe and clean work environment Responsibilities Accurate ingredient Lot Code/Lot Code Change recording. Must accurately measure ingredients to meet recipe standards. Responsible for timely preparation or "staging" of ingredients for recipes. Must inspect quality of ingredients being used for product production prior to mixing. Cutting Dough to fill production orders Maintain work area cleanliness. Responsible for following safety and quality procedures at all times. Follows rules and regulations to ensure food safety, quality, and legality. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships. May be required to take on additional responsibilities or roles based on the needs of the plant. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis Skills, Experience & Qualifications Ability to work in a fast paced environment One year related experience and/or training
Education, Technical Qualifications, Experience and Competencies Proficiency Level Required High School Diploma or GED Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$19.50 - $22.00 per hour
