Job Description

Pursuit Aerospace is a global manufacturer of complex aircraft engine components that are developed through highly integrated processes. Our exceptional quality is driven by a deep investment in and the daily practice of continually improving our people, processes, and products. Due to growth, we have a need for an experienced CNC Set-up and Operator on 3 shifts in our Megrine facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Setup and operate all CNC lathes or mills Ability to train operators to maximize operational proficiency Ensure dimensions meet requirements before submitting first piece Make some edits to programs in milling and turning Recommend changes to Engineering Setup Work with engineering on machining enhancements and technology Champion progressive change, set up reduction, continuous improvement and flow line principles Run Labor Standards where appropriate Partner with Supervisor in monitoring/improving operator applied time and performance vs. labor standards Trouble shoot problems in CNC areas Achieve all time standards Meet all Quality Requirements and use QC equipment Meet and follow all safety guidelines and lead by example Must be able to run more than 1 job simultaneously Knowledge and experience with cutter selection Experience with High-temp alloys Must follow AS9100 procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills:
Excellent leadership and communication skills Programming and MasterCam skills a plus Education and/or
Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Cad School courses a plus 10 years minimum experience in machining 5 year minimum CNC overall experience
