Job Description

Fully participate in and support the Horizon Steel Quality System Comply with safety requirements in area, specifically hard hat and safety glasses Entering cut data into the tooling program to generate set-up specifications for arbors and over and under separator arms. Modify set-up for deviations due to steel gauge, type and, when specified on the Work Order, special customer requirements. Oversee set-up of separator arms. Examine tooling for signs of wear or need for replacement. Handle tooling to prevent damage Keep work area clean and orderly. Report any quality concerns, including stopping production to prevent a nonconformance, to the immediate supervisor. Minimum Qualifications 6 months to 1 year of experience setting up arbors for steel slitting equipment. Knowledge and Skills Preferred Must possess basic reading, writing and math skills
