Job Description - Operator (General Assembly) Core Competencies Good Attendance Work Well with Others Communication Team Work Attention to detail Quality Orientation Operating Equipment Flex-N-Gate Training Requirements High School Diploma or G.E.D 1+ year experience in Automotive Industry Basic Math Skills Reading and Comprehension Skills Job Duties Be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, assembling, inspecting and packaging product according to strict specifications. Meeting daily production targets while maintaining quality control and adhering to safety protocols. Moves materials and boxes, packages component parts into either cardboard containers or totes. Maintains records of production, scrap figures, downtime and lot traceability. Maintains equipment and keeps work area in a clean and orderly manner. Follow and support company IATF 1649 and
ISO 14001
policies, procedures and instructions. Have the ability to stop the process in the event of Nonconformity. Other duties as assigned in production and service areas. Requirements Regular need to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk; hear; taste; and smell. Regular need to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Regular vision requirements include the ability for close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjusting focus. Working Conditions Physical ability to lift 35 lbs. Standing, twisting, bending and walking. Exposure to manufacturing/plant environment. This job description is not inclusive.
