Description 1st ShiftJob ResponsibilitiesUse hard gages and calipers to confirm part qualityUtilize forklift and crane to load material into machineOperate and troubleshoot machine parameters to ensure premium part qualityPerform daily preventative maintenance and typically set up multiple jobs per dayUtilize prints and work instructions to determine cutting specificationsQualificationsAbility to understand work orders and follow instructionsWork with little direction (other than standard procedures)Having laser experience is preferred, especially Tube LaserAbility to understand and follow at MEC safety policies and proceduresDemonstrate a dedication to achieving results and be able to sustain high drive and energyKnowledge of tubular steel manufacturing and fabrication processes is a PLUS!
