This position involves operating industrial embroidery machines, preparing garments for embroidery, completing finishing tasks, and ensuring high-quality results. The ideal candidate has experience operating embroidery equipment, can work independently at a steady pace, and is flexible enough to assist with different tasks as needed in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Operate Tajima industrial embroidery machines, including single-head and six-head machines. Hoop and secure garments or other materials onto embroidery frames. Set up materials and prepare garments for embroidery production. Monitor machines during operation to ensure designs are embroidered correctly. Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and consistency. Complete finishing tasks, including trimming excess thread, cutting, applying backing, and steaming garments. Maintain a consistent production pace while meeting quality standards and deadlines. Keep equipment and the work area clean, organized, and safe. Work independently while communicating effectively with team members. Assist with other production tasks as needed in a small-company environment. Skills Proficiency with sewing machines, including industrial sewing machines and sergers, for various stitching needs. Strong understanding of measuring instruments for accurate fabric measurement and placement of embroidery designs. Knowledge of quality standards in production to ensure each embroidered item meets company specifications. Experience with seam construction, garment sewing, and garment construction techniques for durable finishes. Ability to operate embroidery machines efficiently while maintaining high precision levels. Familiarity with manual cutting (fabric cutting) techniques for preparing fabrics prior to embroidery work. Understanding of safety standards in production environments to ensure a safe workspace for all team members. Knowledge of fabric materials used in various products, including upholstery textiles when applicable. Skills in dimensional measurements to verify correct sizing of finished products before shipment or assembly. #INDLI Requirements Previous experience operating industrial embroidery machines preferred. Experience with Tajima single-head and/or six-head embroidery machines is a plus. Strong attention to detail and quality control. Ability to work independently and maintain a steady production pace.
