Saw Operator Alexandria, MN Pay Rate:
$17.50
- $21.00 per hour (depending on experience) Monday
- Thursday | 5:00 AM
- 3:00 PM Strong Work.

Education & Experience Technical degree in Manufacturing or related field preferred, plus metal sawing experience

High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of metal sawing experience preferred

Equivalent combination of education and experience Gear Up and Get Going Ability and willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities
Strong work history and reliability
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Experience using precision measuring tools
Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to follow instructions and complete accurate work

Operate saws and other metal cutting equipment
Calculate material usage and enter cut lengths and quantities into machine controls
Clean, cut, and deburr steel materials
Ensure material is properly issued at the end of each shift
Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards
Report equipment maintenance or repair needs
Support cross-training and skill development across machine shop operations
