Position Overview:

We're looking for a dependable, hard-working Yard Laborer to join our team for the summer season! As a key part of our lumber yard crew, you'll be responsible for assisting with daily yard operations, moving and organizing materials, and supporting our shipping and receiving processes. This is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload lumber and building materials Organize and maintain inventory in the yard Assist customers with loading orders Operate forklifts and other equipment (training provided) Keep the yard clean and safe Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years or older Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in a variety of conditions Team-oriented and eager to learn No previous experience necessary - we'll train the right candidates Why Join Scherer Bros. Lumber Co.:
