  • and long-term disability, life insurance, and much more Compensation is based on skills and experience Key Responsibilities for Finishing Assistant include: Assist with setting up, operating, and maintaining quality work from various machines within finishing Inspecting for printing defects, requiring close attention to detail Preparing appropriate quality sign-off documentation for assigned tasks Performing required preventive maintenance on assigned finishing equipment Working closely with teams/departments to create an environment that supports workflow and continuous improvements of finishing operations The ideal candidate for Finishing Assistant must demonstrate: Ability to make fact-based decisions and troubleshoot print and press problems to keep projects running smoothly and efficiently Willingness to learn and adapt to changing technologies (hardware and software) Effective time management skills to meet deadlines on multiple long•and short-term projects Clear communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with a diverse group of people and personalities Ability to provide high levels of customer service, responding promptly and thoroughly to the inquires of internal customers Education, Skills, and Experience for
Finishing Operator:
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Required:
Ability to lift up to 50lbs, as well as stand and bend throughout the shift
Required:
Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in the English language
Preferred:
One or more years' experience in a similar role in printing
A Plus:
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and ISO quality systems
