Job Description

Job Summary The Robotics Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining robotic equipment to produce high-quality products. This role ensures production efficiency, product quality, and adherence to safety standards in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate robotic welding systems and related equipment Load and unload parts into robotic welding fixtures Monitor welding processes to ensure consistent quality and performance Perform basic programming adjustments and teach points as needed Inspect completed welds using measuring tools, gauges, and visual checks Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or programming issues Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of robotic welding equipment Maintain production and quality records accurately Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams on process improvements Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous experience in robotic welding or manufacturing preferred Basic understanding of welding processes (MIG, TIG, or spot welding) Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and work instructions Familiarity with robotic systems (e.g., FANUC, ABB, Motoman) is a plus Strong attention to detail and quality control Skills & Competencies Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Basic computer and programming skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong problem-solving abilities Good communication and organizational skills Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Lift up to 50 lbs as needed Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and fumes (with proper PPE) Work Environment Manufacturing/production facility 1st shift 6:00-2:30 Requires adherence to strict safety standards Preferred Qualifications Technical certification in welding or robotics Experience with robotic programming or PLC basics Previous experience in automotive or heavy manufacturing industries Premier Marine offers a comprehensive total rewards package designed to support employees' health, well-being, and growth.
