Position Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator III to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating advanced manufacturing equipment, coordinating workflow activities, supporting production schedules, and providing technical guidance to Machine Operator I and II. The ideal candidate is highly dependable, demonstrates consistent and reliable attendance, and sets a strong example for others in punctuality, work quality, and engagement.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Coordinate daily production schedules, sequence work orders, and adjust workflow priorities to maximize efficiency and meet production targets Verify all required materials, components, tooling, and documentation are issued and staged before production startup Operate advanced manufacturing equipment, perform machine setups and changeovers, and support production during staffing shortages or high-volume periods Lead and support machine operators across multiple production areas while providing technical guidance, troubleshooting assistance, and removal of workflow barriers Monitor production performance, communicate operational concerns, and provide status updates to management Audit machine operation logs, labor reporting, downtime tracking, and production documentation for accuracy and completeness Maintain product traceability and correct documentation discrepancies in accordance with quality system requirements Coordinate material movement between production and warehouse operations to support uninterrupted workflow Utilize ERP, inventory management, and warehouse systems to support inventory accuracy, material tracking, and production reporting Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Perform in-process inspections and ensure products meet established quality standards and specifications Train, mentor, and provide day-to-day support to Machine Operator I and II employees while reinforcing safety, quality, and operational expectations Support Lean Manufacturing, workplace organization, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction
Minimum Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required. 3 or more years of manufacturing, machine operation, production lead, or related experience required. Experience operating automated, semi-automated, or advanced manufacturing equipment. Experience supporting workflow coordination, inventory management, material handling, or production scheduling preferred. Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification required. Experience using ERP, inventory management, or manufacturing software systems preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret work instructions, production schedules, and quality documentation. Proficient computer skills and experience accurately documenting production information.
