Full Job Description Job Description:
This position works alongside a group of 7-12 individuals to produce customer and company products. This includes following accurate instructions, quality assurance, production line set up and awareness of productivity drivers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strong WORK ETHIC and
DEPENDABILITY.
Accurate line set up and preparation for each batch. Verification and understanding of work order and product components. Supervise production line change over per order and ensure accuracy. Multiple machine training required over four months.
Quality and Fill Specification Accuracy:
Perform in-process checks to confirm the production line set up is set for filling specifications and meet quality standards. Provide needed information to line employees to ensure consistent adherence to specifications and standards. Assist in training new leads and line employees.
Coordination of Line Change and Line Clearance:
Prepare and clean production line in preparation of next batch run. Work with team to ensure quality and productivity efficiency by using correct processes and policies.
Skills & Knowledge Required:
High School Diploma or GED Required. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Ability to accurately report and enter data per batch. Manufacturing/Production line work experience. Strong communication skills. Practice safe working behaviors and wear required personal protective equipment.
Physical Requirements:
Lift 30 - 50 pounds. Standing for extended periods. Employee must be able to hear, speak and use hands for fine manipulation of equipment. Must pay attention to detail close vision and color vision for inspection of product and assembly.
Work Environment:
Work environment details are examples of employees daily encounters while conducting functions of this job. Employees must be able to work in highly fragranced environment.
